One of a kind hammered silver ring with Australian opal (UK Size Q)

What a great session this was! The three of us came with vague ideas of what we might want to create, and it was a little daunting to be faced with a square of metal and an array of tools but Shelley was fab, talked us through everything, demonstrated everything carefully, then we were each hands on supported step by step from drawing our designs, through cutting, soldering, pickling and polishing. First with a practice version in copper to get a feel for everything, then on to silver. We came away with professional looking jewellery that we all agreed we would buy in a shop. We are amazed at what we produced ! And what a great teacher Shelley is, really lovely and very patient, giving lots of advice and guidance to ensure we got the best result. A really fab afternoon 😁

What an absolute treat! Shelley ran this workshop as a 50th birthday event for me and my friends. It exceeded my expectations in every way. Shelley is such a great teacher - knowledgeable, patient, kind, and we had so much fun. She is so well prepared thought of absolutely everything - providing us with an information pack, notepad and pencil, refreshments... even a beautiful box to take our rings home in. I would wholeheartedly recommend this workshop: whether you are attending as an individual or bringing the whole group. I attended East Sussex National to check out an artisan makers event, and a key purpose was to see if there were any pendants I could buy for myself. I was delighted to come across your stall, and also recognised your name from a shop (now closed) in Hastings Old Town. The necklace I bought is brilliant and unique. I've delighted with it.

We visited a craft fair while we were in Arundel last Saturday. Walking through the garden the first stall to catch my eye was Shelley’s Jewellery and the amazing pieces that were shown and only realised they were handmade by Shelley after talking to her. I brought a beautiful Tanzanite ring which matched my engagement one. It is very worth a visit to her shop as she has lots of beautiful things to look at.
